So apparently the Oilers offered significantly more fore Clarkson but he took less to play in Toronto. That will always be the challenge for the Oilers.

Considering the money that has been thrown around today, I'm glad the Canucks haven't gotten involved.
The window is basically closed for the next 2-3 years, but who knows what can happen once the Sedins leave and some of these prospects start to pan out?

If Richardson was signed as a 4C/W type thing, that's a decent signing. If he's signed as 3C, ugh. Weber is a good depth guy, offensively minded and RH, could be an asset on the PP setting up Garry/Edler for a bomb.
If Tanev gets 2m per, we're looking at 3.7 to sign 4 players. GMMG ->
