He's the Six Million Dollar Man (almost literally). He has a completely artificial hip IIRC. He mentioned something about lots of pain after every game for pretty much the rest of his life when he came back this season. Good for him for fighting to continue his dream of playing in the NHL.

I'm hoping Schroeder gets dealt in a package deal...I can't see him playing top 6 or even center on the team. Plus with the kesler trade if it goes thru I'm assuming they will get a better center....

It's too bad Schroeder just isn't given an offensive role to make mistakes in. It's the same idea with Kassian. They were picked up for offence, yet both coaches are making sure they're pretty much counter-attack offensive players.
I'm not saying treat them with the same leash that Ovie has, but damn it's like the organization won't give young offensive talent time to flourish without the threat of benching them after every mistake. That only leads to ruining their offensive instincts.
Jordan doesn't fit in the Torts system, which means he'll be dealt in the near future. It's too bad because the team needs offence from somewhere right now.

The players have already checked out on Torts. I don't see how he survives to coach next season other than the fact the Nucks would still need to pay out the remaining 4 years of his contract.
Again, another great signing by MG.

A Kesler trade to bring back players who are younger, and can help jumpstart this weaksauce offence is absolutely critical to this team's season now and well into the future.
-good to hear Gillis eat some humble pie on the team 1040 radio yesterday and acknowledge this team's shortcomings. -pop gun offence, no depth in our three lines, aging core.
Don't mess up this Kesler trade up MG! Be a hustler and come up with a good trade for this team.
