I contacted the owner. He seems really nice, he told me he'll take detailed pictures of everything I want before I ferry over and take a look so I don't waste my time. He said no accidents and sent me the vin number without asking. Kinda wanted a car that pulled hard though

If you are serious about it I could go check it out for you. I've driven a few AP2's but not an AP1. My ex has an AP2 and also found it too small inside with the top up. With the top down it was a great car.

Thats been what I've seen to be fairly common for prices on them in the last 10 months or so. Only the verts really lagged behind.

^ The Craigslist ad (with the pictures) says it's a 2003 Honda S2000 but it's not. At least the wanted to trade add correctly identifies the year as 2001.
Based on the pictures:
- The cluster is 2000-2001, as 2002+ added a white "curved" line above the numbers and the "notched" vertical | lines.
- If the top is the original top, it's from a 2000-2001, since 2002+ have a glass rear top.

I watched an 06 S2000 grey/black with 5,200miles run through the dealer auction in Ohio yesterday - $24,250usd plus buyers fees ~$400. It wasn't for me but probably a fair price if you want to own one of the only AP2 S2000s in NA with sub 15,000kms.

Seeing all these crazy prices... maybe it's time to sell my S! Debating if I should sell my NFR to buy my buddy's gpw/red ap2.
I wonder how much would a bone stock 07 NFR with 84k clicks would fetch? 1 accident, and resprayed bumper
