fyi a b/s will never give you one of their own curtosey cars if you don't have collision and comp. Also hertz rate for icbc cheapest car is $23/day + tax, and you can get collision coverage from them as well.

my dad did not go through icbc to fix his car after someone did a hit and run on him. penney autobody gave him a free courtesy car, but i'm sure like any other business would, they worked it into the repair costs somehow when they estimated it.

So I called ICBC for the third time as a follow up and apparently there was no tow pending for my car because I haven't chosen a designated body shop yet, even though the last two adjusters I spoke with told me I could discuss that with the estimater at a later time.
Anyways, I went with Ben Auto on Clark Dr. at the recommendation of one of my customers. Thing is this shop is a complete question mark to me right now and I have no reassurance that they will do good work. Does ICBC do a quality check after said body shop has been done with the car to ensure its been fixed to an acceptable standard or do I have to take the car as they present it to me?

Now yesterday I actually remember seeing an 2010+ white Focus ST(?) with (what looked like fresh) blue paint transfer on the lower passenger side door, along with some dents, parked near kingsway and boundary. It had a vinyl carbon fibre hood wrap. No license though unfortunately...wish I had more for you.

I took a closer look at my car today and actually found some white paint left on my door panel. Coincidence?
