Sorry, I'm pretty open to anything since it's mainly for myself, hence no criteria other than the sportier look. Pretty much just looking to see what is out there that I might be missing myself.
Probably Japanese since maintenance will be easier. Either transmission is fine.

^^Love it! EBP is THE color to have from a collectible standpoint and that is a nice example. Wonder if he has the stock front lip as that one looks aftermarket. Considering what others have sold for on BaT this one is a fair deal for sure.

A friend of mine was looking seriously at this EM1. It was originally posted Oct 10th for $8500. The ad was quickly taken down.
The current owner bought it from his friend with an aftermarket bumper, wheels and spoiler. He had the spoiler removed and then welded and painted the trunk. He states the front bumper is original to the car but that hasn't been verified since an aftermarket bumper was removed and a replica lip installed. OEM lip is not available. It has an air intake not mentioned. In the original ad it showed air dryers or air fresheners in the trunk so it may have a trunk or tail light gasket leak.
The car is clean but in the end it was too modded for my friend. The original wheels are in excellent condition because it had aftermarket wheels for years so that is a bonus. Otherwise you can see it is missing a lot of OEM parts which are not available.
If you don't mind the modifications and want a keeper EBP EM1 I would say this is a good buy.

Same dealership as the SC430 posted earlier. Cost about the same as a 2007 CRV and it will probably give you lots of problems, but it is so pimp

Lots of problems is most likely bang on. Dealership even states they didn't even bother to do a safety check on it because they likely know better. And right on the dash, service b exceeded by 5000k! Has it even had regular servicing, let alone oil changes? I'd stay away.
