In the US Senate, if it does end up 50 seats for Dems and 50 seats for Rep, in most of legislative bodies, they have to vote for a speaker of the house, then what happens?
And who serves as majority leader and minority leader?
Does this mean the Veep will be tied up presiding over the Senate in order to cast that deciding vote?

Black guy with no weapon resists arrest = shoot him in the back 7 times.
Bunch of protestors with bullet proof vest and guns storming into a high security government building with top government officials = police with batons pushing protestors back and then letting them storm the whole building.

Looks like the Dems will now have the Senate, House and POTUS.
I swear to god, if the Dems/Biden don't take advantage of this next 2 years and enact some real change, I'll be the first person here lambasting their ineptitude and duplicity in this broken system.
We'll see what happens.
I'm proud of Georgians today though, the election once again should never have been so close, but great to see Purdue and Loffler lose  Utterly fantastic.

The storm before the calm, everyone knew this was going to happen sooner or later sadly. I'm just impressed how calm the protesters seem to be inside the senate from the clips I have seen so far. This is a last ditch effort which will fail and the people will be leaving with their tails between their legs sooner or than later.

On the one hand, it's utterly embarassing that they're just being walked over by "protestors".
On the other, utterly impressed the guards held their cool as long as they did. I'm sure the tensions were stupid high and they're well aware of the ramifications of escalating and shutting it down.
