The unfortunate thing about COVID is that it's symptoms aren't terribly visible or really grotesque, and it doesn't have a huge impact on children.
I bet if this was a disease like Measles or Polio that caused visible disfigurement, especially in children, a lot of the anti-vaxxers would probably have a different tune.

I think the majority of cases are just assumed to be the variant at this point. As long as vaccinated people aren't ending up hospitalized at this point, the case load number is not overly concerning in terms of the threat of more lockdowns or being really scared of the numbers. The metrics have changed.

In a typical year there are 55,000 deaths in the age group 0-65. 50% of total Canadian deaths are caused by cancer and heart disease. Those numbers are right from the government, not cnn/bbc/CBC/Facebook. There is lots of info on it for those that want to play around with it.

There is no way to substantiate that. You would need to have 2 control groups in order to come to that conclusion. 1 group who did nothing and 1 group who stood on stickers on the floor. I do know JT has done a great job at spending money.

It’s fairly easy to substantiate.
Look at the death rate increase of any country.
Can you substantiate that those suicide/drugs/delayed procedures are a result of covid? It’s been quantified that suicide rate in Canada hasn’t actually increased since the beginning of Covid until May 2021.
This is coming from someone who’s lost nobody to Covid in the last year and 2 friends to suicide, so I’m not trying to swing the numbers here.
The jury is out on drug use, as we know the toxic drug supply has increased with closed borders, and with the increase in alcohol consumption there’s a pretty good indication drug use increased as well, but they certainly didn’t start at zero before Covid hit, so I’m not sure the increase.
