Heat pumps are basically ACs with refrigerant lines that run both ways to allow for heating and cooling.
They are still pretty big units though. What do you want to know about them?

For some brands the condensing units on the outside don't look visually any different between a cooling only AC unit or a Heat/Cool heat pump.

which one lasts longer? heat pumps or traditional AC's? i heard your average AC unit only lasts like 5-7 years and will need replacement.

Reliability would not be significantly different. Heat Pumps are just AC units with a special valve that lets them run in reverse (aka, "reversing valve"), that's really the only major difference.
Here's a good video on it:
VIDEO
Whoever you heard the 5-7 year lifespan from is an idiot.
With proper maintenance there's no reason these units couldn't run for decades.

Been using negative/positive air pressure effect with the AC in the media room. One adjacent window open in a room with no other doors or window open. At night time, it gets scary cold.
I'm getting cold air from the AC and cold air rushing in from outside via open window. Firefighters use this to get rid of smoke trapped in rooms. Fan at one window is all it takes.
It's like recirc in a car, I guess. All I know is it works like a damn in my situation. I guess size of room/size of AC/size of window combo is just right.

Went to Krause farm for strawberry picking.
Went there earlier in the summer and they were not ripe, now they are perfectly sweet.
It's weird picking strawberries in Sept... maybe apple picking will be in Dec...
