Even though Iron Chef was good, my go-to Japanese cooking show is Dotch Cooking show. OMG those ingredients are just nuts.
We went as far as ordering some of them (bottled condiments like soy sauce and whatever) from Japan. I remember the soy sauce was incredible. A Chinese stew with that soy sauce was heaven. But damn a 1L bottle was like 100bucks to have it shipped and I had to bother my friend in Japan to do the proxy for us.

I decided to watch Initial D again which of course made me want an AE86. So for kicks I decided to see where the prices are at these days and I came across this one with the craziest turbo piping setup I've ever see: https://www.beforward.jp/toyota/spri...year_from=1980
I get the recirc on the BOV but wtf is going on with the T at the top left? I'm assuming this is some crazy experimental setup from back in the day someone was using to try to achieve something funky.

Just had the McRibs. It was as good as I remembered it when it was available in Canada. The last time I had one was a few years back in Bellingham. When they still had the McDonald's in Walmart............such a shame that location is no more. Anyway, our McRib is way better than the amurican version. Don't know why, but big enough of a difference that I will not get one from the US.

On unrelated note, went down to Point Roberts to grab a package. Roads don't have many street lights down there but their road lines, oh man, it was like heaven driving through a video game with reflective lines as far as the eye can see.

The last time I was in Point Roberts was when all border crossings except Point Roberts was closed due to Covid. Didn't see any lines on the road because of 8 inches to a foot of snow on the road. No lights, no lines.......... only saving factor was nobody was on the roads. It was so bad, opening of crossing was delayed due to having to clear the snow.
