Too young? Pete Buttigieg is 2 years older than JD Vance ('82 vs '84). If anything the current candidates make everyone look that way.
I thought Kamala was a "youthful" pick but she's going to be 60 this year. FFS!

For the dems it's the issues and not who ever is on the top of the ticket thats going to get them the win.
They just have to keep talking about Abortion, project 2025, student loans, Ukraine, the supreme court, and marijuana legalization. Just hammer those issues into everyone's heads.

Let's see what the top Dems who pushed Biden out of the race think is a winning combo. I guess Harris has to pick a VP candidate for her ticket. I wonder if there will be anyone else who wants to run for the Dem nominee. I still think:
Pres - Hakeen Jefferies & VP - Gretchen Whitmer (Michigan Governor) would be a strong combination.

Kennedy and Clinton were around that age though, and very popular, so maybe

Was listening to some political commentary today, and there was one particularly important piece of info that (IMO) pretty much guarantees Harris as the Dems' presidential candidate -- because her name was already on the Biden-Harris ticket, she is the only person entitled to continue tapping into the campaign funding war chest that is already there. If she isn't on the campaign ballot, there would likely be some sort of legal difficulties for the Dems to continue accessing those existing funds. And it wouldn't make sense for her to just remain as the VP again and have someone else be the presidential candidate.
From the chances of winning aspect, I still think Harris is a mistake. But from the financial viability and (national) name recognition aspect, she is almost like the only sensible choice.
I still think Trump is gonna win, but I sure hope Harris and whoever will still somehow manage to pull a win out of their a$$es.

Ughhh i was talking to the wife that if it all goes to shit maybe we’ll move to Hong Kong. She’s already established there, I can pretty easily find a job at the port, and it’s close to everything we like.
