Since seeing the video, it really made me wonder how the girl didn't realize she wouldn't be able to get away from this at all. It's a frickin camera door bell! Did she really think it wouldn't have recorded any video of her -- specifically her face -- and then people would recognize her?

They are real but it depends on who is issuing it to you. I received one many years ago in a company I had shares in, and later as a customer of one of the insurance companies. Do your due diligence before depositing it.

As some of you may know I’m into Philately. In particular, Canadian Philately. Canada Post has really gone downhill with their commemorative issues, recently. People who should never be on a stamp (unknown indigenous chiefs and leaders?). They got rid of the long running Chinese New Year issues, which was a shame. Butt, they finally got one right. This person definitely belongs on a stamp. Right along side others like Stompin' Tom Conners, Shania Twain, The Tragically Hip, Celine Dion, etc.

I take that back. Celine Dion has yet to be on a Canadian stamp. She’s on stamps from other countries, though.

My old boss was a private chef for Sarah Mac Lachlan for a bit. He said she was every bit as nice as her image portrayed her and then some.
She also adopted a dog from the same rescue as me back in 2022. Love to see her get that kind of recognition.

The scary part are the casualties. If there are 70,000 deaths, how many more are going to be maimed and disabled or affected for life in one way or another? That's a huge drain to society and it's also unlikely these vets would be ones to start a family.

I doubt it's 500k KIA. That's a fuck ton of people. 500k casualties I can believe. I believe also a casualty can be counted twice if a person was injured, recovered, sent to the front and then injured again.

70k are the number of deaths where BBC could identify the name of the person
In Feb, Ukraine said Russian combat losses were 180k deaths and 320k injured or MISSING, total of 500k. The total Russian combat losses is now over 600k.
