Everyone knows about waiting lists, yes that's a thing with universal care. You have that in the states as well, the only difference is waiting for your insurer to approve your scan or treatment, which is the same type of problem.
Anyone can pay to jump the line for diagnostic services.
Here's an example, one of many operators in Vancouver:
Heck my company offers it as well, full body scans, or specific scans based on your criteria/needs.

Ah, no need to say I don't care. I heard about many people who may have not known or couldn't afford to get their issues dealth with fast enough in the Canadian system and paid the price for it.

Both my Mom and my GF's dad are cancer survivors... here... in Canada... at no cost... in the public system. Detected and dealt with immediately with tonnes of follow up care after and schedule to follow for years after to ensure it's still at bay.
No "I heard from ..........." bullshit... straight facts and real experience.
