So I’m sitting here at LAX and everyone and their mothers are bitching to air Canada trying to get back home. All their inbound flights are being cancelled. I basically hopped the last flight out of lax before the insanity happens.

I got telus, $40 100gb CAN-US-MEX, those dirtbags raised it to $44 1 year in though.
Rogers offered $55 100gb worldwide roaming.
Im waiting for black friday

Both Rogers and Telus are offering worldwide (well... technically 64 countries, but it covers most of the countries one'd visit) roaming through their EPP program. But it's kinda $$$. ($75+) Yes, it's super convenient to have you telephone function intact when abroad, but unless that's super important, I don't see the appeal of it unless you are always traveling. Most of my professional acquaintances now just call me on Whatsapp. I hardly get that many msg through SMS (either iMessage or regular) anymore.
I just get the cheapest CA/US plan as I cross often. And for anything outside, I buy an eSIM before I leave.
