I've been seeing and hearing a lot of the Ads for the new McVeggie burger.
Anyone try it? It looks like it's going to be another fail.
Back in the days when I worked at MCD. They had the Yves veggie burger. No one ordered it thru my whole shift

I tried it yesterday and I quite enjoyed it. I got the regular one, not the spicy.
I would get it again.
Vegans stay away as the patty is fried with the same oil as Filet o' Fish and McChicken. The sauce is the same as McChicken.

veggie burger from early 2000's (when I worked there) was absolutely disgusting. looked like shit, smelled like shit, and cooked like shit on the grill. it would just burn and get stuck to the grill top. I had no idea why anyone would waste their money on that turd. this new one must be better after so many years....

Just tried the McVeggie today and it's one of the better special edition burgers - I like that it's not trying to replicate the texture or flavor of a beef patty.
But at $6 it's not going to dethrone my Cheeseburger Deluxe at $3.89 anytime soon though.

went to mcd's yesterday, 1st in a while, had some points to use.
did they decrease the cost of points for a latte?
I thought it was 4000 points, and when i used it, it was 2000 points for a small/med latte.
was it always 2000?

Yes they made a few changes like lattes going from 4000pts to 2000. At the same time, coffee used to be 2000pts for any size, but now large requires 4000 (and no more XL). Some changes like breakfast combo for 10k pts is a nice addition, but other things like large fries went from 4000 to 6000 pts.

I find anything that is medium+ is too much coffee to consume.
