This guy custom ordered... I get their models mixed up, they all look the same but I think it is a 675LT or something like that?... but it goes from green to black in the paint from front to back... I think he sad the driver side seatbelt wouldn't latch from day1 and still pops out sometimes randomly... the removable roof piece has been replaced like 3 times for water and air sealing issues and the transmission failed and was replaced within a month of him getting it. I mean it's all under warranty but fuck can't even drive the thing.

WTF i was so hyped and then Autotrader showed me the cheapest 296 nationalwide is still asking $380K + tax... thats not 50% off man....
Pretty sure a new 296 MSRP is well under $500K.....
I am still waiting for ROMA to dip below $200K in that sense....

This.
My parents bought a rebuild-titled 2006 Toyota Sienna with 6000KM on it for $10,000 CAD. There was not even a dent or scratch on it.
The VIN tags were stolen and the interior was stripped and the vehicle left on the side of a freeway. My parents found replacement seats and carpet (like new) for around $2000 and had it certified. We still drive it to this day, so coming on to 20 years now.
When my parents thought it was time to downsize vehicles, we put it up for sale. A younger couple with a newborn showed up, test drove it and really liked it. But the idea of a "rebuit" titled van was too dangerous for their precious child and they believed the car would suddenly explode or lose control, so they passed on it.
Despite all efforts in the ad disclosing all this information, they still came to see it. It was a colossal waste of time. My dad would rather not do any oil changes on it and drive it to the ground than sell it to someone who would benefit from it. On the other hand, he's just pushing the limits of Toyota's junk reliability and that pisses me off (because I hate Toyota.)

I'm not making this up, but remember when car prices during COVID were insane? He took a "For Sale" sign and wrote "$30,000" just to fuck with people. Some lady legitimately asked if it was for sale and he laughed at the lady and straight up said, "No, fuck you" and walked away. What a dick. It's like the world wronged him or something (I get it, but why?)
