when i was like mid 20s i was attracted to a girl that basically showed no interest in me, so i figured that i would try to be that persistent dude, something i never really did before.
i only messaged her 1-2x a day, but for like 2 weeks. she always responded kinda neutral or positive so i kept going. eventually we did date a bit and became friends after it didnt work out.
so ya i guess some weirdos do message only once a day, but it's not a healthy start of a two way relationship. if two people actually like each other its just obvious beyond what can be explained here..

so this was unqiue. I did exactly what you all did.. are you engaged and are they responding to text.. 1 text a day is gay given people spend 10 hrs on IG and phones.
Before I met my wife, we woudl go on dates, but very lack of responses. Spurt of a moment then stops and repeat. I stayed in the game and after 4-5 dates, called her out. If you're not interested, i'm ok. I'm NOT here to make friends, i got tons of buddies and can careless I was 41 and she's 38 - i was just being honest and respectful of your eggs since you say you want to get married and have a kid.
I joked giving the dates we go on - 1 date every 3 weeks - I guess I'll see you in 3 weeks. Didn't believe me and then she went back to text and mapped out on her calendar and then ramped up on our dates and we become more steady.
Best of luck to you. 99% a girl doesn't give effort, peace outtttttttt. If you define the relationship, and they still do that.. then game over.

I know we aren't talking about apps right now, nor encouraging the use of them but I thought I'd share some things I deduced after years of using them
1. If her profile pics are all at angles, full make up, and/or always has filters on, she's hiding her true self. The more honest girls will often times include 1-2 photos of herself without any of this crap. They'll complain about guys using old photos in their profiles (valid point usually) but then deceive you with all of the above.
2. If all of her photos are all group pics and she doesn't specify which one she is, she's the ugly one 
3. The most eye-rolling quote they add to their profiles is "If you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best". To me, it's akin to girls almost universally hating pictures of men holding a fish.
4. If they don't include a single photo of themselves from head to toe, they are absolutely hiding something.
5. Perhaps my biggest annoyance is girls who post photos where you can ONLY see the back of their head. Girl, I ain't here to date the back of your head. If you can't even post a single photo of your face, apps are 100% not for you.

Few years ago, i asked my friend and they said if you date mainland china 99.9999% of the girls are using filters. I'm sorry but NO ONE EVER takes pics without filters
This was easily few years ago so i can't image now...

Yeah I don't understand this culture of simping at all. Why are dudes donating large sums of money to girls online when their chances of ever dating them is 0%?
Then you also get guys who lose their shit, start stalking, and some who even get close enough to cause psychological and/or bodily harm to these girls. It's insane. These men actually develop a sense of ownership on these girls because they feel like their money somehow grants them that.
