^amazing you took your parents in. If I took my shitty parents in, my health and mental facilities would instantly diminish so much that ill probably murder everyone before the month ends.

Same I can tolerate my parents individually, they’re nice people separate from each other, but if they’re together it’s so toxic I can only spend like an hour around them at most and that’s pushing it.
They’re both much healthier apart from each other, I don’t know why the never got divorced or separated it’s kinda crazy. I guess at this point if they split up they’d have no one else to blame for being miserable hahaha!

My dad when living with just my mom in their condo was overall in a pretty bitchy mood most of the time. I sometimes worried if he was depressed as there some some signs.
Then he moved into my basement. I honestly wasn't sure about it but in the 3 years he's moved in, his mood has been consistently improving. He had been having knee problems for years where he complained he couldn't walk down stairs without hurting. He had that problem when he first moved in, together with not being able to get up when sitting on the ground.
Maybe it's partly my two kids making him move more, maybe it's from just overall a better well being, which also translated him to be willing to go outside for walks. Being in Fraserview it's also a pretty taxing walk as it's hilly.
Him and I realized middle of last year, he no longer hurts. He can walk up and down stairs without any pain. He can get up from the floor. It's like it transformed him.
It goes back to the Singapore taxing policy where your taxes are reduced by the proximity of you being close to your parents. The design as that having adult children nearby improves the health of the elderly, to the point that the savings in medical needs far outstrips the the cost of providing those cost savings.

This is very true.
It's the same reason why when a spouse passes away at older age, the other usually goes not long thereafter.
Despair of the mind carries a massive affect on the body, and ones health.

My workout for the day. I had to stack up the new to me winters I picked up while I was on vacation. I'm not sure it was smart to stack them up that high, I don't know if I can get the top wheel off at 65lbs, at least maybe not by myself.

^Be careful, I find stacking wheels up easier than loading them down.

Just gotta organize it like Red does, and then it's not hoarding anymore... it's curating.
