Was swapping my pads back today, first time seeing a pad separate from its backing.

To the pads defence, its had 7.5 track days (rear) so i guess its just end of life.

As for the front: new rotors and new pads:
The front pads had uneven wear, its the outside area is worn, and the inner oval is just brake dust.
These pads only had 2 sets of laps on them before i left (supercharger issues), you guys think they are just not worn in enough, or they came ovaled from the factory, or poor heat cycling on my part?

The rotos also had "glazing/smearing". Looked like this: not my photo

As my not very well-informed guess -- I suspect that your rotors got too hot for the temperature that the pads can tolerate? So the pad material started melting onto the rotor in smeared patches.
