today i fucked up...
removed the racing stripe but it left some thick ass adhesive, similar to ppf thats been left on for too long. i tried some 99% isopropyl alcohol and goo gone but no luck. did a quick google search, top result is to use 3M adhesive remover and a plastic scraping tool.
tried spraying the 3M stuff and wiping off without using the tool, but no luck.
sprayed on the 3M stuff and let it soak for 15mins then tried wiping off, still no luck.
sprayed, soaked, then started scraping with the tool, 5 mins into scraping (still 95% to go) i got impatient and scraped too deep and took off some paint.
fuck it! i dont have the patience for this crap.
the rest of my aliexpress chrome delete and lower grill piece (oem piece was heavily faded) arrived.
fail: the grill piece didnt come with the tow hook cover (got in touch with the seller and was told its not included and they dont make one) wtf!!! i couldnt find just the cover on ali, had to order one from mini. this stupid cover from mini cost just as much as the whole grill piece from ali.
win: the 3 gloss black pieces from 3 different manufacturer all matches and perfect fitment.
unpopular opinion on RS but the black trim looks so much better than chrome

Personal opinion:
i think the mouth looks okay, but the eye liner is a bit much. Kinda made the car more girly.
Also racing strips looked good and typical mini. now its a bit empty looking and your eyes are drawn to the eye liners.

Ugh that residue looks like a bitch. Makes me worried about taking the wrap off the ratrolla. Although that wrap is meant to be removed eventually and this sticker isn’t. Still scary.

the racing stripes was done well on the R chassis. it ran all the way from the hood to the roof and down the trunk. on the F chassis its only on the hood and has a V tapper rather than parallel. this little detail has bothered me from day one.

i think u should be good, ur ratrolla is garage kept. as long as the wrap is taken off within its lifespan it shouldnt be too bad from what ive been told.

Eyeliner is exactly the first thing that came to my mind as well, and I don't have a problem with that at all~ And there is absolutely nothing wrong with a car being more girly. I think I have deemed more of my cars to be girls instead of guys LOL~
