Just that most educated fans wouldn't make such an assumption at that point of the game, and in game 1. Even if they did lose game 1, 2-0 (which they didn't), far from 'toast'.
You must have gotten NHL mixed up with NFL where you lose and go home in playoffs. FYI, each series is best of 7.

You might have had a point if you had said that while they were still down 0-2 halfway through the third. Doing it after the fact makes you look like a clown. You missed your shot!

lots of entertaining game 1's so far. buffalo looked to be gripping the stick too hard to start the game but once they got going it was great. montreal game was wildly entertaining.

I am so on board with Buffalo being in the playoffs, they've suffered just as much as Vancouver has if not more.
Always liked their blue an gold jerseys and logo and great young team, they even play the Canadian anthem before their games when a Canadian team isn't involved!

Carolina scores in OT, but it is disallowed on review for offsides
However they are still awarded a penalty shot, even though the play was offsides.
