There has been at least two barge collisions with bridges in the Lower Mainland as reported in the news recently.

First, a barge hitting the bridge which connects Westham Island with Delta.

Then this barge hitting the Arthur Laing.

Is it a career change for some of these barge operators??

They got fired for driving semi trucks into overpasses. Therefore, they start new jobs as barge operators??

South Van was a shitshow last night. I had to get crosstown from 49/Vic to 41/Cambie...

I had to divert down to 33rd because 49th and 41st were so backed up.

Marine eastbound was backed up to Fraser already by 1:30pm. I can't imagine what it would look like if it was actually rush hour. Westbound was backed up to Victoria by 1pm, and beyond that by 2.

People made it extra bad as they tried to cut the line and people not letting them in, ending up blocking 2/3 lanes on Marine.

I heard the rally was in yaletown yesterday and my friends from ottawa were staying there and wanted lunch. I asked them to meet at a cafe in gastown instead and when i was driving there the traffic was absolutely fucked coming from dundas. By the time i got to main st it was moving like 2 cars per light. Worst traffic ive seen in some time.

Dude it wasn't just the DT core, traffic was fucked everywhere even all the way to Burnaby and N Shore (of course). These rich Persian fucks really showed the regime driving around in their lifted F350s waving their monarchist Shah flags all over the city.
