Best HD Camcorder
I need a high quality camcorder to record a musical performance. First and foremost, from most important to least important, it must be able to capture excellent sound, then a high quality image.
Any good recommendations?

As good as the camera's sound RECORDING may be, your audio quality will still be limited by the microphone, and your position in the room. Unless you plan to pull audio from a board mix or something, expect to have a lot of echo and room noise.
