This movie was just as good as I expected it to be. No better, no worse. In other words, one of the best movies made in the last few years, IMO. Fucking awesome!
I wish QT could make movies every month

No, they put them above and below the normal ones. I felt bad for the people who had to read them, because quite often they were white on a white background. Then again, I have tried to watch many Chinese movies where the English subs were the same way, so fuck 'em!

Had a few breakfast pints this morning before the show and I was so excited to see it but I ended up falling asleep in middle of it. In fact, I didnt feel very good afterwards but some Jewish guy sold me a book on the street later today which made me feel a lot better. Will have to see it again.
Still waiting for Chairman Mao, Hollywood!

it was a cool flick but  to ^^^^ i think our grandparents(my grandmas jewish and my grandfathers/great grandfather fought in it) would feel offended by someone finding redemption from an action/comedy movie

not really since ww2 only affected our grandparents/great, it was over 60 years ago
but fine ill drop it i dont want the movie thread to be sent to fight club

im also glad that QT has the balls and more importantly, the pull in hollywood, to make things the way he wants to. not alot of directors will do things risky.
