GTI MKV DSG recall?
So has anyone else with 08/09 GTI with DSG gotten recalled yet?
They (VW) said they were gonna call people about the problem but noones called me and im beginning to worry...lol

worry about what? Your should learn how to read, it says a SELECTED vin range will have the recall. If you didnt get a letter or phone call it means you are not part of it.
here is a little tip for you. Posting on revscene is not going to help, try using your head and maybe call a vw dealership with your vin so they can look in their computer system.

If you want you can actually call any dealer and they will tell you if your VIN is part of the recall.

i believe it's a voluntary recall?
my 2009 gti is 2008 october build and had the temp sensor problem (PRNDS flashing)
i just took it in to a dealer and got it fixed in june. no problem ever since!
