Question about mobile internet connection
ok..so i'm a noob with regards to data..but yea just got the 500mb data plan..
but i can't connect to "rogers internet" aka internet.com..when i connect the screen goes white..no kb transfer..and end up the phone says gateway has no response..
i can only connect to "gorogers" aka wap connection..
anyone know the reason why?..using it on a nokia 5530 btw
and whats the differences between the two connections?
also is the 6gb for $30 still available?

i think WAP uses EDGE only and is slower than 3G. goto a store and get them to set you up. and as for the 6 GB/$30, thats long gone, however its may be possible to haggle your way into getting it, perhaps sign on for a longer term data plan.

Settings are in a sticky. 5530 doesn't have 3G. You can use EDGE on internet.com. You should be able to do it without setting up any settings, but if you need to, run the wizard in Menu >> Applications >> Phone Setup >> Sett. Wizard >> Operator.
