Sell the Mini Cooper for Civic?
i know that's a stupid question but i got a 05 mini cooper with 80xxx km.
my frd said i should sell the mini out get a 2nd hand honda civic with lower mileage?
since the maintenance and fixing costs are quite high for mini, and he said mini is not durable compare to japanese vehicle, i will need to spend a lot of money in order to keep the car is that true?

Well... Maintenance wise, he's right for that. But would you mind downgrade from a mini to civic? I'm not saying that civic is bad or whatever, but you will feel the drive difference as well as the comfort.
Unless you're getting an Si, I'd say stick with the mini.

Two different animals between the civic and mini. If your priority is to save money on repair and get into a c-segment car then yes switching over would ideal, but if not you'd probably save more money just keeping the car than trading it in.
