Computer sluggish out of now where?
So I come home from work yesterday and noticed my PC was off. No problem I turn it on and right away I notice that the resolution somehow changed on it's own to 800 x 600. So I change it back to my regular settings and right away something doesn't feel right.
The color and quality of the PC feels off. I go and start playing videos files I have and the quality looks like it's dropped significantly as well. The videos are also playing very slow likes it's sluggish as well just surfing and using my computer feels that way too.
After investigating some more I noticed that the HDMI cable I have connected from my video card to the HDTV doesn't seem to be working anymore. I'm on Wiwdows 7 and whenever I need to watch or use my TV as a monitor I have to go to Playback and switch the sound over to the TV rather than the speakers. It shows the Sharp TV on there but I can't change the sound over because it says "Not Plugged In", the picture is also not displaying on the TV anymore. I think it's safe to assume that the HDMI cable is broken?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Could be your graphics card. Have you checked that?

Also try reinstalling your graphic card drivers. Driver files could be corrupt.

I had to remove the drivers and then reinstall. The PC I realized wasn't even recognizing the Video Card at all because when I go look all the information is blank. After I deleted and reinstalled it worked again and recognized the card. Guess the drivers were corrupted or something.
