Reliable/Good Short Shifter For RSX Type-S
Hey guys, so I've been in the market for a short shifter for my 2003 RSX for a while now, and I did some research regarding which shoft shifter to buy. Sadly, every single short shifter that had positive reviews seems to be discontinued...
For example, the comptech short shifter was regarded as either above average or great. Discontinued. Same for the Viscoustech short shifter adapter, discontinued.
I have heard mixed results from the revo short shifter, and same for the buddy club short shifter. I dont want to be shifting and all of a sudden my shifter snaps off lol. I'd really like some input from you guys. As well, if this topic has already been covered on revscene, i havent been able to find it through the search, so please direct me to it.
Thanks in advance!

From what i remember, the problem with the buddy club is weak welds. strengthen the welds before installing it and you'll be good to go.

When I had a 3g TL the Comptech short shifter was well made, the RSX S seems to be still available through a lot of vendors? Quick Google shows heeltoeauto andys auto both have them in stock.

If I was going to go with a short shifter I would buy the K-Tuned one, it just looks beefier than the Hybrid Racing one, I have a HR SS in my civic, but had I not found it used and the ktuned shifter wasn't out at that time. If it had been out I would have totally picked one up. Billet RSX Shifter Box
