Leather jackets - Perf or Non-perf?
Anybody rock non-perforated leather jackets during the summer months?
I'm looking to get a nice leather jacket for the chillier bookend months of the riding season; april-may, sept-oct.
Or is perf the way to go for versatility?

I wear a non perf leather jacket year round pretty much, mostly because I just like the aesthetic way more. But that's just me.
During the summer months, it doesn't really get so uncomfortable to the point where it made me want to buy a second jacket. Of course it did get toasty at times, but just leaving the front unzipped gave me enough airflow to not have it really bother me that much.
I would think that perf does give you a bit better air flow. It really just comes down to personal preference

Non perf. It's better in the colder weather and rain. Up here it's not hot enough to really need a perforated jacket.

I usually wear my textile jacket in the hot summer months, in this chilly weather I wear my non-perf jacket (which has a removable liner) Liner is in during the mornings and out in the afternoons.

Yea I have a textile for those really hot days.
I just don't want to drop $$$ on a jacket that I can only wear when it's cold enough.

I have a textile jacket and my non-perforated leather jacket. The leather jacket lends me a sense of security I don't get with the textile, no matter how much cooler it is when it is hot. I just hydrate properly and rock the leather jacket no matter how hot it is.
