Fuel
Hey all, I’m new to Vancouver, just moved here from nyc, I’m having a hard time finding decent gasoline to support my 93 octane tune... what gas are you guys using here in the Vancouver area for boosted cars???
Thanks!

Welcome!
I personally swear by 94 Octane from Chevron.

Chevron 94 is pretty good but can be spotty at times. 91 NITRO at Shell seems to be consistent and has noticeably less knock on my Subaru.

I've had really bad results with chevron 94 and good results with shell 91 on my cobb shell 93 tune.. it's an OTS tune but it doesn't have the choppiness that the chevron had under boost (even when trying from different stations)

I was excited about seeing the chevron 94 before I brought my car here thinking it would be great but it causes too much knock, I switched to the 91 from shell and it knocks the same as the 94 unfortunately... I just ordered a flex fuel kit and hoping that will be the best solution... just wondering what people here are doing to make decent power... seems the general consensus is that the fuel available in Canada just isn’t up to par compared to what I’m used to back home unfortunately... figured I’d ask here to see if I was missing something lol...
Hopefully the ethanol does the trick...
