Maybe not a popular opinion but I think stock looks better. This is a wee bit too chunky now, makes the greenhouse look a tad bit small.
Don’t get me wrong it’s still decent looking but the proportions seem like it’s a bit off. It’s basically what they did with my grand turismo. The first few years the design was clean and elegant 2008-2011. Afterwards they added all these unnecessary body moulding and it looked fat and a lot worse.
Probably cuz I’m an old man now

This car has always been a bit of a problem child, but this is the first time it's ever failed me in a way that it needed to be towed home. I haven't torn into it yet but it sprung a large coolant leak that I couldn't find just looking under it in a parking lot

I'm in general agreement.
I think the lip is a good add, but that's because the factory lip is black. I thought the Mugen kit for the FK8 was perfect, and made that car look complete.
@Matsuda - Love the wheels. Those are what I'd get if I wasn't so cheap

Maybe if he repainted the aero pieces black or wrap it carbon fibre, it’ll diminish the dimensions and shrink the proportions again.

I really like Matsuda's skirt and lip matching body color white ... it makes it unique compared to rest of the Civic Type R's.
And I noticed that his signature with list of cars has been updated.  (  had to use this one cuz thumbsup smiley not working )

yeah conti's, i'm going to be running winter tires on my stock wheels. Will have same ride height for winter. I ran about the same ride height back when i had the golf R and I also had front lip/side skirts and even a rear diffuser on that. my commute to work is only 6km round trip so I'm not driving far
