Nah, that's a separate issue lol. I'm well aware of that lawsuit though. My friend in Texas told me they do this for the whities because they can't handle the food being so hot but.... that's the whole point of dim sum 
It blew my mind that they actually let the dim sum sit off to the side to cool down before serving it to them. I have never once in my life seen or heard of such a thing at dim sum!

Yeah Macdonalds was serving coffee at like 80-90C(normally coffee will be around 60C when it's finished brewing). They had hundreds of complaints in the years leading up to this case, and finally an old lady got so burnt that there was a lawsuit. They settled for like $600K
It's crazy how that single story from the 90's got repeated so much, and passed through a game of telephone along the way. We've all heard different versions of it over the years, so I eventually had to look it up
