its their policy. They'll always ask what your celebrating and if you say birthday, they will bring you a slice of billy miner cake for free. you can also say you dont want the billy miner, and get a cheese cake.

I don't know how true this story is but one of my ex-colleagues said to me they went to The Keg after a funeral to have dinner with family and friends. When the waitress asked them if they were celebrating something, my ex-colleague said they were celebrating life (as in, someone passed away.) The manager gave everyone a Billy Miner pie.
